1. Greet clients
2. Perform check-in and check-out with clients, including verifying insurance eligibility, entering information on lapsed insurance/new insurance, collecting co-pays and balances due and providing receipts, submitting cash sheets, updating client, demographics, notifying staff that client is checked in
3. Schedule client appointments
4. Enter and make changes to staff schedules
5. Complete administrative intake with clients, including providing intake packets to clients and collecting completed forms
6. Answer calls and emails and respond to messages
7. Complete referrals to specialists
8. Complete daily reminder calls
9. Complete prior authorizations
10. Complete PTIs
11. Transfer and close cases in the electronic medical record
12. Send and distribute faxes and mail
13. Work as a member of the support team
14. Scan documents into the electronic medical record
15. Assist doctors and clinicians with letters and referrals
16. Maintain calendars, professional meetings, vacations, conferences, etc.
17. Performs other related job duties.
License/Certification/Education:
Required:
Senior Receptionist: Minimum of a high school diploma/GED/HiSet
Experience/Skills:
Required:
1. Minimum of 2 years' experience
2. Advanced computer skills
3. Ability to multitask.
4. Ability to use office equipment, including copy machines, computers, printers, telephones and four drawer vertical filing cabinets.
5. Ability to organize complex tasks and meet deadlines.
6. Must be able to pass a CORI background check
