Job Description
Responsibilities

IT Field Support manages all aspects of Oklahoma IT components for their assigned area. This person will work as a member of the Information Technology team supporting company issued computers for managers and users. The position assumes "ownership" of the IT resources in the assigned support areas to ensure high quality of services and equipment. This person will provides superior customer service support to internal customers to ensure business continuity.

  • Accept and complete Tech Support assignments according to established SLAs, provide documentation and completion status through BMC FootPrints tickets.
  • Microsoft Active Directory/Exchange - work with IT Staff to manage user accounts and set user membership in AD security groups.
  • Assist Network Support in maintaining network and/or network equipment rooms and cabinets, such as TCP/IP and Microsoft Networking.
  • Assist with Cisco switch and router support, understanding and participating in security and monitoring.
  • Installing network print services, setting up shared network drive space and security
  • Provide user support for Microsoft desktop applications, Sentinel One Antivirus, Citrix, and Cisco AnyConnect SSL VPN.
  • Apply critical updates and patches.
  • PC Hardware work, including imaging, configuring, allocating, disposal, building, repairing, modifying.
  • Work extensively with internal customers and contractors.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent job experience required.
  • 2-year previous Help Desk or Desktop support experience required.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Comptia Certificates a plus.
  • Telecom experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of the natural gas or other petrochemical industry software preferred.
  • Ability to work smoothly with managers, multi-task, high-level organizational skills, and advanced problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with end users and support staff, and work with and manage contractors of various types and skill levels.
  • Self-starter, self-reliant, ability to work independently.
  • Positions involves weekly travel to OK sites/facilities. Typical travel consists of day trips with overnight stays on occasion.
  • Maintain scheduled visits to field locations. A vehicle is provided.
  • Job requires participation in an after-hours/weekend "on call" rotation.
