JOB SUMMARY:
  • Represents OEM Company products while managing sales initiatives to maximize financial performance and customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Manages sales planning to ensure short and long term financial objectives are achieved
  • Develops new business with existing customers and identify areas of improvement to exceed sales objectives
  • Develops and tracks key metrics (e.g. quarterly sales, forecast accuracy, new part addition targets, quote performance, etc.)
  • Develops short and long term forecasts
  • Clearly communicates the progress of monthly, quarterly, and annual key areas of focus to internal and external stakeholders
  • Facilitates regular business reviews with key Aftermarket customers
  • Ensures the timely and successful delivery of initiatives according to customer needs and objectives
  • Identifies incremental sales opportunities by working with customers to determine new product offerings
  • Manages customer relationships through continuous proactive communications
  • Works with Purchasing and Operations to resolve customer issues
  • Provides customer quotations
  • Works with OEM Customer Service to identify new sales opportunities
  • Provides intelligence information to OEM Brand Protection
  • Supports Corporate Quality Operating System.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • There are no supervisory responsibilities with this position. However, for specific projects, the position may require leadership skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree and three to five years related experience is required.
REQUIRED:
  • Requires a background in B2B within the automotive aftermarket, OE experience a plus.
  • Strong sales, application knowledge with technical skills set is required.
  • Knowledge of project management to support internal program gates is required.
  • Must possess excellent communication and social skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) with an emphasis in Excel.
  • Attention to details, ability to work independently, within teams and remotely as required while supporting the voice of the customer.
  • Must have experience in building, creating, and maintaining strong partnerships and positive relationships with internal and external associates through open dialog and understanding.
  • Must possess financial acumen and ability to collect and interpret data to synthesize next steps.
  • Forecast and sales planning utilizing Salesforce is required.

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
