In this position, you will provide technical support for Automation & Electrification Service, Process Automation Energy Industries (PAEN) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, delivering superior, professional service, remotely or on site. In this position, you will provide technical support for MOD300, AC800M and with 800xA, MOD300 Connect in EN/ PAEN area in proximity of St. Charles, LA, United States, South Region. Your hands on experience and knowledge of customer needs will help you not only to build strong customer relationships, but also to actively identify and develop new business opportunities.

Regional Service Manager - South

• Providing on site technical support
• Provide Application support when needed
• Provide Preventive Maintenance to ABB installed base at your customer site
• Troubleshooting potential equipment failures and proactively taking measures to offset/prevent and inform internal partners
• Provide support for ABB upgrade projects when applicable
• Coordinating logistics of resources, spare parts and technical support cases
• Suggesting product and process improvements within the business to enhance operations and customer service

• An Associated degree or at least 2 years of experience in Distributed control systems is required
• Aptitude and Attitude to learn quickly. Formal and on the job training will be provided
• A collaborative, solution focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
• Ability to travel to mostly within south Louisiana for a week at a time
• Travel to other parts of US may be needed infrequently
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
