Job Description
Ochsner Health System Baton Rouge is seeking a Board Certified ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON to lead our department of two orthopedists and three physician assistants.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE POSITION:

Clinic-based position with dedicated surgery days; surgeries performed at

  • da Vinci robot, Hana table and other state-of-the-art equipment available in the operating room
  • Clinic located in Baton Rouge with rotation to suburban clinics
  • Services to be delivered at , a new medical office complex with surgical and in-patient capabilities scheduled to open in early 2019
  • Weekly call rotation shared amongst physicians within the group (clinic and hospital consult)
  • 24/7 reliable hospitalists onsite
  • Practice is complemented by 2 outpatient therapy clinics
  • Integrated practice model with strong, internal referral network
  • Support available from
  • EPIC medical record platform utilized throughout the Ochsner Health System
  • Tort reform state
